Ten-storey reinforced concrete structure with a 3300 sq.m. floor plate custom built to Public Works specifications. The building is founded on end-bearing steel piles on rock.
“Fly-forms” were used to minimize formwork costs and to tighten construction schedule. The typical floor plate contains expensive electric/electronic distribution network and accommodates complex electro-mechanical systems.
Public places within the building included extensive 2-storey spaces as well as special envelope treatment. Our office successfully cooperated with the contractors for a speedy schedule and effective cost control.
