We’re pleased to share that the Établissement de La Macaza project was nominated in two categories at the Grands Prix du Design, a competition that celebrates excellence in architecture and design across Quebec and internationally.

About the Project

La Macaza is a federal correctional facility located in the Hautes-Laurentides region. The architectural concept reflects Indigenous values, promoting rehabilitation in a peaceful, nature-connected environment. Wood plays a central role in the structure, creating a warm and sustainable atmosphere.
